Robert Astroon Mouradian

of Arlington Heights, Illinois

Robert A. Mouradian, 64, was born January 22, 1959, in Iraq to Artsroon and Sonia (nee Marderosian) Mouradian. He passed away on October 16, 2023, at his home.

Robert was a dedicated and skilled truck driver, having worked for JB Hunt and Koch Trucking throughout his career. He was known for his unwavering commitment to safety and responsibility, having accumulated an impressive 3.5 million miles driven without incident.

Outside of work, Robert had a true passion for sports and outdoor activities. He proudly served in the Army during the Gulf War and had achieved the rank of Sergeant before being honorably discharged. During his service, he excelled in Softball having been recognized with the All-Army award for three consecutive years.

When he wasn't on the road or serving his country, Robert could often be found on the golf course, pursuing his favorite pastime. His natural talent and deep-seated love for the game led to remarkable achievements, including an incredible 18 Holes in One. In 2017, he triumphed in winning the Arlington Amateur, leaving a lasting impression on the local golfing community.

Robert will be deeply missed by his loving spouse, Tamara (nee Metz) Mouradian, his brother Kenny Mouradian, his sisters Esko Mouradian, Betty Miller,and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

To celebrate Robert's life, a visitation will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Arlington Heights, 1903 E. Euclid Ave., Arlington Heights, IL 60004 on October 26, 2023, at 10:00 am, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the First United Methodist Church of Arlington Heights.
