Rosa Selvaggi, of Glenview, IL, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2025, in Elk Grove Village, IL. Born on March 18, 1952, in Italy. She was the dear daughter of the late Frank and Lucia Selvaggi, a cherished sister, aunt, and friend.
She was the dear sister of Michael (Rosa) Selvaggi, the late Vito (Carla) Selvaggi, and the late Vittoria Selvaggi. Rosa's love extended to her nieces and nephews, Lisa, Lucia, Amanda, Frank, and Vito. Her passing leaves a void in the Selvaggi family that can never be filled.
Rosa's professional journey was marked by her dedication and integrity in the banking industry.
Rosa was lover of travel, she traversed the globe with family and friends, embracing new cultures and experiences with curiosity.
Her warmth and curiosity for life drew people to her, and she nurtured a wide circle of friends who will sorely miss her laughter, her stories, and her companionship. Rosa's ability to make every person she met feel special and valued was one of her most remarkable qualities.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Rosa’s honor can be made to the American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
A visitation for Rosa will be held Thursday, May 8, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004. The mass will begin at 10:00 AM at St. James Catholic Church. Entombment at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, IL, will be private.
