Sandra "Sandi" Ergish

Sandra “Sandi” Ergish was born November 26, 1952 in Chicago to Robert C. Schirmer and Anne B. (nee Garrett) Kubicek. She died April 27, 2019 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.

Sandi is survived by her husband Dennis Ergish; her children Michael (Kristen Turner) Ergish and Staci (Todd) Kupsak; her grandchildren Peyton Kupsak and Cameron Ergish; her siblings Robert (Theresa) Schirmer Jr., Mary Deaton and Robbin (David) Weddell and by Jeff Dezort, whom she was proud to have helped raise. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and by the children she cared for from new born to school age.

Sandi is preceded in death by sister Betty (late Phil) Brennan and by her parents.

A celebration of life service will be held Sunday June 23, 2019 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The location will be at Old Orchard Country Club, 700 West Rand Rd, Mount Prospect IL 60056.  From 1:00 until 2:00 will be a meet and greet.  Catching up with family and friends.  From 2:00 to 3:00 we will have Memories of Sandi growing up until now.  I will have a slide show of pictures and a little presentation of what it was like living with one of the best women ever.  After that, anyone who wants to share a memory of Sandi is welcome to speak.  It could be good, funny or bad, but I really don't think there would be too many bad.  Unless you remember the time that Sandi #$&% %*&^ (*&).  Oh lets not tell that one.  That was funny!  From 3:00 to 4:00 there will be a buffet lunch. I will need a head count (positive or negative) that you are coming and how many so I know how much food and tables we will need.  So e-mail me even if you are NOT coming that way I can count you as a NO instead of guessing if you are coming or not. Sandi will be laid to rest in a private ceremony with family and close friends on a different day.
