Santo DiCarlo, 81 of Scottsdale, AZ and formerly, Glenview, IL.Santo DiCarlo was born on September 20, 1935 in Alta Vila Milicia, Sicily, to Salvatore and Angela (nee Scafidi) DiCarlo. He died Friday, February 17, 2017 at Centegra Hospital in Huntley, Illinois.Santo was the owner/mechanic of O"Hare Automotive since 1984 before retiring to Arizona. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed gardening.Santo is survived by his wife of 57 years Maria (nee Raia), his children, Sam (Mary) DiCarlo, Tom (Dawn) DiCarlo and Angela (Matthew) Rude; his grandchildren, Santo R. DiCarlo, Mario DiCarlo, Santo Rude, Katye Rude, Karl Rude, and Danielle DiCarlo; his siblings Andrew, Tina, Anna, Maria, and Angela.He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Vicenzena.Visitation from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Monday, February 20, 2017 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, and Tuesday, February 21, 2017 from 9:00 am until time of Mass 10:00 am at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N.
