I was talking to my Mom who remembers Tom visiting our home on Hackberry Street in Arlington Heights ( Northgate).   We remember Tom being a bit skeptical then usually saying “ I don’t know” then a big grin and a laugh would always follow.   He fixed my bike and dishwasher while he was staying with me in Milwaukee as he transitioned to his new job.      He wanted to make sure Tom Jr would be ok at UWM college and wanted the best for his son.      My condolences to Lenore , Tom Jr , Brian and Family.

I worked with Tom at his new job in Wisconsin.  I had helped him throughout his transition and move from Georgia.  I still laugh when I think about his Challenger hooked up to the U-Haul he brought to WI.  While my time with him was short, I learned very quickly that he loved three things; family, Harleys, and fishing.  He was very proud of his son Tommy and what is in store for him.  He had a great sense of humor, was very relaxed and loved beer and cigars.  I hope his family and friends find peace in his absence, while remembering his spirit and positivity.  Rest In Peace Tom.

This is so sad to hear.  I worked with Tom for many years when he was in Bloomington and had the pleasure of meeting Lenore and Tommy multiple times.  My heart goes out to them. Tom and I spent a lot of time together and I could always count on him whether for helping me with car/boat troubles, chatting about our kids baseball, helping me out with a fallen tree, or just someone to grab a beer with.  Just last night I caught pitches from my youngest son using a great broken-in catcher's mitt with "TK" written on it, that Tom just let me have years ago. Rest In Peace my friend. I'm very sad to hear of Tom's passing.  I worked with Tom when was with Cook Medical in Indiana and I'll always remember how he loved baseball (and would wear his White Sox gear all the time).  Tom would give me grief as I am St. Louis Cardinals fan, but we bonded over our shared dislike of the Cubs!  He was always so proud of Tommy, showing off pictures and videos of Tommy's baseball games.   My deepest condolences to Lenore, Tommy, and all the family.  -Mike Kurrus

This one hurts me to the core. I've known  and worked with Tom early in his career and just talked to him 3 weeks ago. He was always so nice and funny and loved to talk about his adventures and life experiences that always included a story about Lenore and Tommy . He loved you and I'm just so heartbroken for you all.
