Thomas Joseph Troccoli

Thomas Joseph Troccoli was born March 8, 1960 in Chicago to John and Rita (nee Urso) Troccoli. He died on December 31, 2022 at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.

Tom was President of Alloy Welding Corporation, having started there at the age of 16. Many of his fabricated pieces can be found in industrial and everyday uses around the world. Tom and Tricia are college sweethearts, having met at Northern Illinois University. He was quite active in his daughters’ lives, from cheer coach, Indian Princesses, to being their loudest supporting fan.

Tom is survived by his wife Tricia (nee Fertig); his daughters Emma (Joe) Ricchio, Casey (Brett) Siani; his grandson Lionel Ricchio; his siblings Michael (Marguerite) Troccoli, Margaret (Brian) Wisniewski and Liz (Jim) Schultz; his brother and sister in laws Dennis (Terry) Fertig, Jerry (Marie) Fertig, Kevin (Carol) Fertig, Jim Fertig and Bob (Denise) Fertig; by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and by his parents.

Tom is preceded in death by his infant son Rock Troccoli and his mother and father in law, Francis & Benjamin Fertig.

Visitation Wednesday, January 4, 2023 from 2:00 PM until the time of funeral service at 7:00 PM at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Interment private.
