Valerie F. RossiOf Arlington HeightsValerie F. Rossi was born September 25, 1943 in Chicago to Paul and Mary Anne (nee Kubinsky) Doretti. She died September 13, 2015 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.Before dedicating her life full-time to raising her family, Valerie had worked in the public relations field for a number of organizations including Goodyear Tire Rubber in Chicago. She was alongtime parishioner and choir member at Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church in Arlington Heights, where she was a benevolent volunteer for numerous charitable efforts. She will truly be missed by friends and family alike.Valerie is survived by her children Stephen (Ellen) Rossi and Lauren Rossi; grandchildren, Alexander and Isabella; sister Marie Elizabeth (the late Pemberton) Shober; fond aunt to Kathryn Howard, Nathaniel Shober and Evelyn Shober.She is preceded in death by her brother William Doretti.Visitation Monday, September 21, 2015 from 3:00-9:00 pm at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Prayers 8:45 am Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at the funeral home; proceed to Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights, IL 60005 for a 9:30 am Funeral Mass.
