He passed away on Monday, February 9, 2015 in Arlington Heights.Walter is survived by his children, Richard (Carol) Kroll, Cheryl (Thomas) Burdick and Laura (Terry) Smith; his grandchildren, Holly (Jason) Goeppinger, Eric (Lindsay) Kroll, Kimberly Burdick, Stephanie Burdick, Brittany Smith and Timothy Smith; his great grandchildren, Liam Goeppinger and Jacob and Ella Kroll; and his brothers, John (Helen) Kroll and Edward (Dorothy) Kroll .He was preceded in death by wife, Dorothy Kroll; his brothers, Henry (the late Lillian) Kroll and Raymond (the late Dorothy) Kroll; and his sister, Irene (the late Frank) Janczak.Visitation Thursday, February 12, 2015 at St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church, 411 N. Wheeling Road, Prospect Heights from 9:30 am until the time of Mass at 11:00 am.
