Walter Zettlmeier was born March 24, 1933 in Gergwies, Germany to Lawrence and Maria Zettlmeier. He died June 30, 2022 at home in Arlington Heights, surrounded by his family.
Walter is survived by his wife Apollonia (nee Schadenfroh) his children Edward (Ann) Zettlmeier, Marlene (Rich) Chandler; his grandchildren Jamie, Nicole (John), Kendall (Molly), Cody (Melissa) and McKenzie (Tyler); his great grandchildren Madison, Mikey, Finley and Jaxon and by his sisters Maria and Hilde.
He is preceded in death by his brothers Rudolph and Willy Zettlmeier.
Visitation Tuesday, July 5, 2022 from 3 PM until 8 PM at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Funeral service 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Glueckert Funeral Home. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
