William Albert Christian

Bill served in the United States Army as pharmacist in the 36th Medical Battalion. He graduated from the School of Pharmacy from Drake University in 1963. He married Jo in Ottawa, IL on August 11, 1963. They moved to the Northwest suburbs that year, where they would raise their family. He was a lifelong member of the First Presbyterian Church, where he served as a Trustee and belonged to the Connections Group. Bill was an avid photographer and was a member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics. His interest was in radio control model flying. He was an active member of S.O.A.R. Northwest RC and Blue Max.

Bill is survived by his wife Marie “Jo” (nee Warrick) Christian; his sons Rick (Jood) Christian and Scott (Michele) Christian; his granddaughters Laura and Lily and by his brother Robert (Paulette) Christian.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of Bill’s life will be Saturday, January 20, 2024 at First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights, 302 N. Dunton Avenue, Arlington Heights from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights.
