Winifred T. "Winnie" Stapleton

Winifred T. "Winnie" Stapleton of Arlington Heights Prayers for Winifred T. "Winnie" Stapleton (nee Manning), 78, will be said at 8:45 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights. A Mass will follow at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 450 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights. Interment will be private. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 17, at the funeral home. Born March 30, 1932, in Chicago, she died Friday, Nov. 12, 2010, at Rainbow Hospice & Palliative Care Center, Park Ridge. Winnie was an active member of Our Lady of the Wayside CFM, and a Eucharistic minister at Northwest Community Hospital for over 25 years. She was the wife of James W.; mother of Michael J. (Sandy), Stephen J., Ph.D., James W. Jr. (Dotty), Diane M. (Garry) Abezetian, Theresa (Michael) Loacker, Karen E. (Dean) Miller and John F. (Stacy) Stapleton; grandmother of 14; great-grandmother of one; and sister of Marion Kenney, John (Donna) Manning, William (Peggy) Manning, Marcella Marth, and the late Eileen (Jack) Walsh.
