Anthony (Tony) Joseph Bruno November 21, 1974 - January 8, 2025 Anthony was born in Schaumburg, Illinois to Nicholas and Karen Bruno, as the youngest of their four children. Growing up, Anthony was involved in the theater as an actor and later he trained in improvisational comedy at the famous Second City in Chicago. This is when he met his husband of 24 years, Robert H Wlodek. Amongst his many loved ones and dear friends, Anthony will be remembered for his quick wit and sarcastic humor, while still being a compassionate person ready to help those in need. Anthony loved cooking, raising his two dogs and laughing at bad movies and television. He also loved current events and could speak knowledgeably on any number of subjects. Those lucky enough to have Anthony in their life know his greatest gift, was being able to draw a smile from anyone, with a keen ability to make anyone comfortable, in any situation. In Heaven we know Anthony will have the company of his father, Nicholas, and father-in-law, Henry. Here, Anthony will live on through his husband, Robert, his mother, Karen, and older siblings, Michael, Julie and Michelle, and their spouses (Rachel, Adrian and Paul). His in-laws include Barbara, his mother-in-law, and sisters-in-law, Susanne and Julie, with their spouses (Scott and Brent). Anthony (Uncle Tony) will also be fondly remembered by his nephews, Steven, Nicholas and Patrick. His nieces, Sabrina (Zachary), Abigail, Allison, Gabriella, Caroline and Sofia were also touched by his famous, infectious humor and love. A spring memorial is being planned in Macomb, MI.
