Arturo Reyes

He was born in Robstown, TX on November 1,1949 to Pedro and Santos Reyes. Most of his life he worked for AAFES where he finally retired in Grand Prairie, TX. He lived life being the awesome uncle you could count on to keep the family gathered and united in laughter. He was also considered both father and grandfather to most of his nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his siblings Pedro, Pablo, Roberto, Jesse Reyes, Maria Suarez and his nephew Robert Suarez.

He is survived by his siblings Antonia (the late Roberto) Garcia, Lydia (Jose) Garza, Daniel (Olga) Reyes, sisters-in-law Amelia Reyes and Hortencia Reyes. He will also be greatly missed by his numerous nephews, nieces, family, and friends.

Pallbearers:Rudy Suarez Jr, Rafael Suarez , Jose Cardenas Jr, Ivan Jurado, Ivan Jurado Jr, Isaiah Gonzalez, and Roman Gonzalez. Honorary Pallbearers: Robert Reyes Jr and Daniel Reyes Jr.

A visitation for Arturo will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home, 4216 South Bowen Road, Arlington, TX 76016. A rosary will occur Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at 7:00 PM, 4216 South Bowen Road, Arlington, TX 76016. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 9:00 AM at St Michael the Archangel Church, 2910 Corn Valley Rd, Grand Prairie, TX 75052. A graveside service will occur Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 N Davis Dr, Arlington, TX 76012.
