

Blanca earned a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Education from Wayland Baptist University. She had a distinguished career at Texas Instruments and later served as a long-time manager at Walgreens. Her dedication to her work was matched by her commitment to her community. She attended and volunteered in the Spanish Translation ministry at Crossroads Christian Church, helping to bridge language barriers and bring people together. She was a five-year pancreatic cancer survivor.
Blanca was a woman of many talents and interests. She was always seeking adventure, whether riding her horses, her Harley Davidson motorcycle, soaring in her hot-air balloon, or practicing her skills at the rifle club. She also earned a black belt in karate and loved dancing. Her creative spirit was evident in the Ceramics Playhouse Gift Shop she once owned. In her later life, Blanca was always surrounded by her grandchildren, who brought her great joy.
Blanca is preceded in death by her father, Pedro Guajardo Sr.; and step-father, Fidencio Oyervidez.
Blanca is survived by her loving husband, Miguel; her cherished children, Diana Olivarez Campos (Rick), Elizabeth Otero Young, and Joshua Rodriquez; her beloved grandchildren, Varissa, Vincent, Lilliana, Gabriel, Dominic, Bella, Xavier, Myranda, Myka, Nathaniel and Mario; her mother, Rufina Oyervidez; her siblings, Pedro Guajardo Jr. (Patricia), Rosa Bush (Banjong), Raymond Oyervidez (Rachel), Yolanda Belgara (Marcus), Fidencio Oyervidez Jr. (Emma), and Christopher Oyervidez (Martha); and many cousins, nephews, nieces and friends who will always remember her as a source of inspiration and joy.
A memorial service to honor Blanca's life will be held on Friday, July 12th at 7:00pm at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home in Arlington, Texas. Details for a memorial service in Lubbock Texas, will follow soon.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (https://pancan.org/), in memory of Blanca's generous and adventurous spirit.
Blanca will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of passion, adventure, and community service will continue to inspire those she left behind.
