On May 4, 1956 Charles married Charlene Henderson, they spent 59 years happily married and were blessed with two sons. Charles enjoyed bowling, coaching little league baseball and football. His teams won numerous city championships. He worked as a brick mason, and was a brick laying instructor for 25 years. In recent years Charles enjoyed going to the YMCA and visiting with friends.
Those left to cherish his memory are: beloved wife Charlene; sons, Tony Magers, wife Madonna and Cleve Magers, wife Lori; grandchildren, Bonnie Tucker and husband Chris, Collin, Brooke and Micah Magers; great-grandchildren, Tiffany, Sydney, Kale, Chase and Cameron, brother; Jimmy Claude Magers, wife Gaynell; nieces Danielle and Kerry; great-niece, Montana
