

Connie Robert Holloway passed away Feb. 3, 2015. Service: Sat., Feb. 7, 2015 at 10:30am, Moore Bowen Road Funeral Chapel. Connie was born on Dec. 8, 1949 to Jack and Virginia Marvine Adair Holloway in Waco, Texas where he went to Waco High School; he also attended McLennan County Community College. He worked at his family's restaurant, La Fiesta from 1965-1979 in Waco. Throughout the years he lived in Waco, Tyler and Arlington where he had deep social responsibility. On Sept. 18, 1993 Connie married Deborah Brown. He loved to fish, take family vacations, an avid reader of history; a huge sports fan, especially the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers and loved to cook. He was kitchen manager for Bill Martin's seafood restaurant in Fort Worth and Colonial Jetton's catering. Connie was a part of the crew that catered the BBQ at the old Dallas Cowboy's Stadium. His career also included running cafeterias for ADT and Manheim Auto Auctions in Dallas, Fort Worth, Grand Prairie and San Antonio at various times in the last 27 years. Connie worked 8 campaigns and was co-chairman & personal aid for Lane Denton in Waco for the Texas Legislators in Austin during the 60's and 70's. He has made many good friends in the auction business including his employees that he loved and appreciated dearly. He is loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him. Those that preceded him in death are his parents, two brothers Steve and Mike Holloway. Survivors: wife of 21 years Deborah Holloway; sons Brandon Holloway (Nicole) and Austin Holloway; daughter Angela Martin; grandsons Zachary Martin and Braden Holloway; aunts Ann Holloway, Wanda Patlis and Sandra Weakley and a host of extended family and friends.
