Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday at Unity Church of Arlington. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

David was born Aug. 11, 1953, in Grand Rapids, Mich., to Rosemary and Donald Kurtz. He lived in many towns growing up, moving to new towns frequently, sometimes yearly. His service in the Navy took him on further travels, but he settled in Arlington in 2001 to be near is family. He held many different jobs over his lifetime, from owning a spa to trading precious metals, to Southwest Airlines. He continued to trade stocks and metals until the time of his passing. He was extremely active in his church community at Unity Church of Arlington, giving generously of his time and creative talents.

As he would say, All is Good.

Survivors: Niece, Sonya Taft; best friends, Joe and Marti Alley; and a large group of friends from the neighborhood and church.
