Hi Jason,  I lived next door to your mom from the time I was in 1st grade until I made some bad choices and married when I was 16. It was stupid and we lost touch. Until that point, we were best friends. We played every day. We would take Weldon's drop cloths in the wagon and pretend to be Boxcar Children or in a tornado, we played freezing statues and the legend of boggy creek, we rode our bikes, hung out at the park at the water tower, we had so many sleepouts,  went to Snappy Stop and McDonalds through "the field," walked to the library and the movie. I can remember her having to go in PROMPTLY at 6 for dinner because Weldon would come home and they always had dinner as a family. We walked to school together, were both in drill team, and worked at Six Flags so we rode together. I went to Lockhart with them on vacation. When I moved back to Texas as a single mom I spent a lot of time with Bobby. We liked to go dancing and I can't count the evenings we shared. I love her and the family. If you want to contact me I would be glad to share memories of her. I haven't seen her for ages but I can share about her and Bobby's childhood.  bkidman at gmail. I hope you are doing well.  

I met Debbie in high school and we became immediate best friends. Debbie and I shared all of our high school years in drill team and running around on Cooper street in Arlington.  She was a kind soul and the best friend I ever had.  I basically lived at her home all through high school.   She fought a hard battle for a very long time but always could always joke or share a laugh.  I am happy she is no longer suffering, although she will be forever missed and forever in my heart.

What a myriad of photos and some bring back the fond memories I and Doris had of Debbie. 
She is remembered as the good soul she always was and I am saddened deeply with her passing. 
I thank the Lord that she is now at rest and did not have to suffer any pain in passing. 
I hope Jason can find comfort in knowing that his Mom was not only a hard working but a loving person who did her best for him to the extant she was able. That part of her was evident and I pray that he can follow her example, as it is worthy of emulation.
