Dena Sue Barnes, age 67 of Arlington, passed away on August 16, 2018. She was born on February 21, 1951 in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of David Sample and Inez Cobb Sample. Sue married James Barnes and they celebrated 49 years of marriage before her passing. In her spare time, Sue enjoyed watching her television shows, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with her family.

Sue is survived by her husband, sons Aaron Barnes and wife Tamara and Greg Barnes and wife Sandra; grandchildren Kayla, Justin, Ryan, Michael, Zach, and Paige; brother David Sample; sisters Mary Jane Sample Flores and Ava Davis.

Visitation will be Monday, August 20 from 7-9PM at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 9AM on Tuesday, also at the funeral home. Interment to follow at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
