

Donald Harrison Rogers, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and proud U.S. Army veteran, was born on December 28, 1957, in Killeen, Texas. He passed away peacefully at his bedside on January 10, 2026, surrounded by love, with his wife Ursula and son Christian by his side. He courageously fought a five-year battle with cancer, meeting each day with quiet strength, grace, and determination.
Donald dedicated 24 years of honorable service to the United States Army, a career defined by commitment, discipline, and deep pride in serving his country. During his military service, he was stationed in Stuttgart, Germany; Fort Hood, Texas; and Fort Devens, Massachusetts, and deployed to Kuwait and throughout the Middle East. His service shaped not only his life, but also the values he instilled in those around him—integrity, perseverance, and unwavering dedication.
Donald was married to the love of his life, Ursula, for 42 years. Their marriage stood as a testament to loyalty, partnership, and enduring love through every season of life. Together, they built a family rooted in strength, compassion, and devotion.
He is survived by his son Christian and daughter-in-law Sherry; his sister, Debra, and her family; his grandchildren Brooke and her husband Akira, Summer, and Christian, who brought him immense pride and joy; and his extended family in Germany, including Evi, Jurgen, and family. He is also lovingly remembered by many dear friends and colleagues whose lives he touched throughout his military career and beyond.
Outside of his service and family, Donald found great joy in cruising and traveling, especially to Hawaii—a place that brought him peace, reflection, and lasting happiness.
Donald Harrison Rogers will be remembered for his steadfast character, his honorable service, his deep love for family, and the meaningful friendships he built over a lifetime. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew him, and he will be profoundly missed and forever honored.
