She was born in Kassel, Germany on September 15, 1926.
Trudy and her family moved to the U.S. to live in upstate New York in 1971 and to Arlington in 1974, remaining in her home for 38 years.
In true German tradition, Trudy loved to prepare many beautiful meals for family and friends to enjoy; her culinary skills were outstanding.
Trudy was a unique person, everyone who came in contact with her learned to appreciate her candor; she said what she meant, and meant what she said.
She loved her two adult children.
She is survived by Ralph J. Driscoll, Thomas A. Driscoll (son) and Ellen Driscoll (daughter-in-law), Janet J. Driscoll-Trietsch (daughter) and Robert P. Trietsch (son-in-law); and Geza Domotor, Richard & Shelley Domotor, Ilona & Tibor Grunberger and other extended family and friends.
Trudy will be greatly missed; she will never be forgotten.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home Chapel at 4216 S. Bowen Road in Arlington.
