ARLINGTON -- Emil "Dee" DiGiorgio, 75, passed away at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at Moore Funeral Home-Bowen Chapel with burial following at Greenwood Memorial Park in Fort Worth. Visitation: 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Moore-Bowen.
Emil was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., in 1941. He graduated from the Academy of Aeronautics in Queens, N.Y., and enjoyed a 40-year career with American Airlines. He was an avid golfer and a loyal New York Yankees fan.
Emil was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Christina; and his brother, Vincent.
Survivors: His wife of 54 years, Francine; his children, Joseph, Jeannine (Scott), Denise, Anthony (Christine) and Christopher (Jamie); grandchildren, Andrew (Ashley), Matthew, Amanda (Lucas), Natalie, Shawn, Deven, Steven, Michael, Grace, Mya and Brooklyn; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Ariel, Julia and Parker Francine; and numerous nieces and nephews.
