Erin graduated from Grand Prairie High School in 1999 and worked in the medical, hospitality, and logistics industries. Most recently, Erin worked at XPO Logistics where she was a loyal teammate for over seventeen years. During her time at XPO, she made countless friends and met the love of her life, Catarino.
Erin had a passion for life; unrivaled by most. She was a loving, caring, supportive, and generous daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend. More than anything, Erin loved being around her family and her dear Catarino; he truly completed her. Upon her entry, Erin had a knack for lighting up a room. Erin loved hitting the slots in Oklahoma and Louisiana and had the best luck, she rarely walked out of the casino without a healthy winning. Aside from enjoying her time at the casino, Erin was an avid sports enthusiast. She was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Stars, Nebraska Cornhuskers, and U.S. Soccer fan. She enjoyed sitting in the passenger seat while Cat drove and she listened to her favorite music, usually country. Erin was a huge fan of reality television and often conversed with her brother about the latest season of the Jersey Shore and other television programs they dubbed ‘junk, but healthy’. She valued time spent with her mother and Aunt Felicia getting manicures and pedicures on Saturday afternoons. Since Erin worked evenings, late night chats with her father, usually pertaining to sports were never uncommon.
