Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Jude Catholic Church, Mansfield. Interment: 1:45 p.m. Friday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with a rosary at 7 p.m., at the funeral home.
He was born March 14, 1948, to Florentino and Fortunata Doporto. Junior was a 1967 graduate of Big Spring High and served proudly in the United States Army for 26 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Carolina Arguijo; and brother, Johnny Doporto.
Survivors: His loving wife of 38 years, Elma Hilario Doporto; daughters, Rachel and Marisa Doporto; granddaughter, Alexis Renee Doporto Ramirez; sister, Maria Celia Garcia; brothers, Jose, Louis, Raul and Alfredo Doporto; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
