Fred retired as a Chief Inspector with Gulfstream Aerospace, where he dedicated many years of service and was known for his strong work ethic and attention to detail. Following retirement, he embraced life at a slower pace, spending time enjoying the things he loved most.
Fred had a deep passion for sports, classic cars, and music. Whether watching a game, admiring a beautifully restored automobile, or listening to his favorite songs, he found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He especially cherished time spent sitting, visiting, and laughing with good friends, creating memories that will long be treasured.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Dorothy Porter.
Fred is survived by many dear friends who will forever hold him in their hearts and memories. His presence, stories, and friendship will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
