

ARLINGTON -- Irma E. Amador beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully at her home Friday December 5, 2014. Irma was born on June 24, 1955 in Robstown, Texas, daughter of Adolfo and Guadalupe Gomez. She worked at her mom's restaurant as a young girl, later worked at the army soldier center Wiley Barracks in Neu-Ulm, Germany and then became a licensed practical nurse and worked in hospitals and nursing homes settings. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings; Enrique Gomez, Juan Garcia, Benita Lopez, and Josephine Gomez. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Juan Neftali Amador of Arlington, TX, son John Henry Amador (Nancy) of Arlington, TX, daughter Amanda Neftali Watkins (Michael) of Arlington, TX, daughter Amy Joanne Johnson (Clifford) of Arlington, TX, and son Juan Neftali Amador Junior (Teashine) of Arlington, TX. Irma is also survived by her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy: Annalisa Josephine Amador, Addison Gonzales, Andrew Jae Gonzales, Cheyenne Marie Watkins, McKayla Hope Amador, Jacobi Neftali Watkins, Izabel Rae Johnson and future baby Amador. Surviving siblings: Tranquelino (Tino) Gomez lives in Floydada, TX, Olivia Lopez of Hollis, OK, Valentin Gomez of Altus, OK, Benancio (Bene) Gomez of Oklahoma City, OK, Jose Angel Gomez of Colorado Springs, CO, Juana Maria DelaCruz of Hollis, OK, Adolfo Gomez III of Oklahoma City, OK.
Celebration of life will be Monday, December 8, 2014 at 3pm, Moore and Sons Funeral Chapel Bowen Road
