

Jack passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the young age of 25.
Jack was born March 18, 1996 in Arlington, Texas. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Mr. John Williamson.
Those loved ones left to cherish his memory include his beloved parents, Jamey and Cathy Hodge; sisters, Caroline Hodge and Katie Bodzinski, her husband, Eric and their two children, Olivia and George Bodzinski.
Jack is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Ernie and Janine Kooistra; Jim and Kathy Hodge and maternal grandmother, Sandra Williamson; Aunts, uncles and cousins that felt more like siblings.
Known for his quick wit and sharp tongue, Jack grew up labeled as the fun-loving, brilliant kid in class, who could slice and dice you with his words leaving you and those around you doubled over in spontaneous bouts of laughter.
Even the adults who found themselves on the receiving end of his jokes couldn’t help but love and appreciate the sheer genius level comedic wit out of such a young boy. His mischievous grin and soft chuckle behind his clever statements were the charm that drew others to him. Everyone has a Jack story because he made life fun. Without our Jack, life will never be the same.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the outpouring of love and support from all of the wonderful friends and family members who have embraced Jack throughout his life’s journey.
His life will be celebrated Saturday, December 4th, at 1:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of St, Barnabus United Methodist Church, located at 5011 West Pleasant Ridge Road, in Arlington, Texas.
A reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall.
