Kathleen Anne Pucek-Whitney

Kathleen was born on December15, 1949, the 2nd child of Louis Betty Pucek. She grew up in Arlington with her 3 siblings and was highly active in sports. She graduated from Sam Houston High School. Katheen retired from the USPS at Melear Station as a mail carrier.

Her favorite hobby was playing Gin-Rummy with the people that she loved. She loved visiting the ocean, collecting lighthouses, Bougie camping, traveling the world with the people she loved spending time with grandkids and great grandkids. Her partner in crime was her doggie Boy Boy.

Kathleen was proceeded in death by both her parents Louis and Betty Pucek, the father of her children Glenn Whitney (M.1969-1986), and the love of her life Lorie Makeham (1986-2021).

She is survived by her siblings Linda Gautney, David Pucek-Farnsworth, Kimberly Cerney and their families. Kathleen is also survived by her 5 daughters and their husbands and family: Cherise Whitney and her children Brandon (Alyssa) their children Addy, Riley, and Levi. Triston and Cayllie. Misty (Greg) Jepson and their children Meagan (Kyle), and their children Benjamin and little sister on the way. Morgan (Eli)and their daughter Ari, Macy, and Max. Chelly (Keith) Aldrich and their daughters Chellenn and her sons Ryan and Caden, Cheyllee, and Kieyllee and her daughter Blakely. Kelly Whitney (David) and their daughters Jacolyn (James) and her daughter Julianna and their daughter Jaylani and Madelyn. Autumn Whitney and her children Whitney and Dalton.

Kathleen passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 2,2024 in her home in Arlington, Texas. A memorial service will be January 27, 2024, 2-6pm at Moore Bowen Funeral Home,
