Kristen Lea Dedmon

Kristen was born in Abilene, Texas, March 14, 1980. She lived there with her family until 1989, when they moved to Arlington. Kristen attended Martin High School, where she had many friends. Kristen loved music and attended many concerts over the years. Kristen also loved any and all animals, and was known for rescuing strays. Kristen was sports fanatic and enjoyed watching any sports she could. Her favorite team was the Texas Longhorns.

Of all the things Kristen loved, she loved her family the most, especially her 2 daughters Kollyns and Korbyn. On December 11, 2015, Kristen married her husband, Derek.

Kristen is survived by her husband Derek Dedmon, her two daughters Kollyns Gallaway (6) and Korbyn Dedmon (9 months), her parents, Vicki and Bobby Klahn, her sister Erin Klahn, and her grandfather Foy Buck (of Abilene).

Kristen was preceded in death by her sister Kelli Klahn and grandparents Vonda Buck, Frances and Kenneth Klahn.

Services will be held at Moore Funeral Home on 4216 S. Bowen Road, Arlington, Texas, Friday, November 4, at 2:00pm

In lieu of flowers the family will be setting up a trust fund for the girls future needs.
