He was born August 5, 1945 to Mary Ellen Pendleton and Robert "Bob" Pendleton. He graduated Sunset High School in Dallas, Texas. He graduated from Richland College and Texas A & M system with his bachelor and masters degrees. He served in the United States Army. He worked for Dallas County Community College in Dallas, Texas. As well at Del Mar College, in Corpus Christi as an adjunct professor. He retired from Corpus Christi ISD. He moved with his wife to Arlington, Texas, to be closer to his grandchildren and family.
Survived by his beloved wife Patricia Pendleton, his daughter Patricia Bush, and her husband Raymond Bush, and grandchildren Joshua Phippen, Jared Phippen, and Kate Bush. Sisters Nancy Chapel and Joan Hukel and several loved ones.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Robert and Mary Ellen Pendleton, and his former wife Kathryn Pendleton.
He will be buried at the DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
