Born in Vancouver, Washington, Marlene made her way south via The United States Army. While serving at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, she found her love Henry. In 1968, they wed and started their story that continues today. She worked for The American Red Cross and later dedicated her passion into Early Childhood Education. She earned a degree, learned sign language to help children with special needs, raised a family, and fought heart disease with Henry. In 2018, she started her battle with Breast Cancer, by the end of 2019 she showed us her power and became a Survivor. Her caring spirit and giving soul will be missed here on Earth, yet her love will always be in our hearts.
