Michael Shane Quarles

Michael Shane Quarles, age 53 of Arlington, passed away on June 29, 2017, with his family and friends at his side. He was born on November 24, 1963 in San Antonio, Texas, the son of James Richard Quarles, Sr. and Pauline Adele Gantz. Shane married Cindy Banister in 1993 and they shared 24 years together.

Shane is survived by his father, James Richard Quarles; wife, Cindy Quarles; daughter Virginia Quarles Robinson; sons Shane Tracy Quarles and Joshua Kane Keller; grandson Michael Gill; daughter-in-law Brittany Keller; brother James Quarles, Jr.; sister Cynthia Elaine Quarles; three beloved pets Boomer, Blossom, and Lucky; and a large extended Family, including his Toyota of Irving family. Shane was preceded in death by his Mother and his son Zackary Keller.

Shane worked as a mechanic for Toyota of Irving for over 28 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, the outdoors, and was known as a firearm enthusiast. He enjoyed country music, Western movies, and John Wayne films. Shane was a fan of the Sooners, Cowboys, and Rangers. He had a love for animals, especially his beloved dogs. His greatest time in life was the time he got to spend with his family, all of whom will miss him greatly.
