Patricia Ruth Lawrence Lins

Patsy was raised in the State Orphan's Home located in Corsicana, Texas. She has wonderful stories and memories of her life there. After High School graduation she attended East Texas State University where she majored in Physical Education. Patricia, as she would come to call herself as a young woman, was an avid swimmer and tennis player.

She later settled in Dallas,Texas where she would marry and raise her three children. Later in life she remarried, and recently celebrated 29 years of marriage to her husband Charles Lins, of Arlington, Texas.

Patricia loved life. She was easy going and loved by many. Her favorite things were traveling, Mexican food, reading, and more reading. She was known to read a novel a week. She went out of her way to make people feel welcome in her home and helped those in need. She always fought for the underdog.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband Charles Lins of Arlington, Tx; Daughter Diane Bruton of Dallas, Tx; Son James Adds of Corpus Christi, Tx; Daughter Patti Lioon of Austin, Tx; Grandchildren Ashley Taylor Yount, Clay Stephen Taylor, Natalie Elizabeth Lioon; Great-grandchildren Hannah Yount, Kylie Yount, Parker Yount, Bentley Taylor and Ethan Taylor.

Little did she know when she welcomed her new family almost 30 years ago to include daughters Susan Landry, Debbie Holbrook, Peggy Wyrostek, she would be blessed with an additional six grandchildren and three more great-children.

Those who love and shared Patricia's life includes many friends that stretch from the big state of Texas across the United States, including Hawaii.

Patsy (Patricia) Ruth Lins will continue to be loved, respected and missed by many.
