

Ralph was born in Leakesville, North Carolina on January 22, 1956, the son of Douglas Carter Jeffries and Barbara Ann Farmer Jeffries. He lived his life to the best of his abilities, while serving in the U.S. Army, 411th Military Police, 720th Battalion, including operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm in the Liberation of Kuwait. Ralph retired after 20 years of service as a Staff Sergeant, E6.
He worked for Tarrant County College Police Department for the next 27 years, retiring as Lieutenant of the Southeast Campus. He always ended his meetings with "stay alert - stay alive." He cared deeply for his troops. He was stern but supportive.
Ralph married Dusty Green on September 9, 2009 at the Glen Rose, Texas Dinosaur Valley State Park. He was devoted to Dusty and their fur babies for 18 years. He said his proudest moments were being there for his daughter's birth and meeting Dusty, the love of his life.
Ralph loved to ride his Suzuki M109R motorcycle, model building, GI Joe Collecting and flying DCS Flight Simulator with his friends.
Ralph was a member of the Post 60 American Legion, Bike Riders Group. He was also a member of the 411th Military Police Co. Reunited 1974-1976 group.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Dusty; his brother, David Jeffries and family - son, Cory and Amber Jeffries; daughter, Krystal Jeffries; his children, son, Christopher Jeffries; daughter, Christina and Karl Sanders- Rapoza; grandchildren, Katelynn and Jack Rutter, Tallon Jeffries, Celest Jeffries, Caedence Jeffries- Sanders-Rapoza; great-grandchildren, Finnick Rutter and Keagan Gregory.
A Celebration of Life to be held on Sunday, October 26, 2025 from 12 Noon to whenever! At the Mansfield, Texas American Legion Post #624 at 2951 FM917, Mansfield, TX 76063, 817-477-2207.
An inurnment & military honors for Ralph will be held Monday, October 27, 2025 from 2:15 PM to 2:45 PM at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.
