Randolph (Randy) Lee Beckett

Born in Iraan, Texas, on May 7, 1957, to Robert Henry Beckett and Dorothy Chapman Beckett. He was a resident of Mansfield, Texas, with his wife, Melanie Beckett, of 38 years.

Randy, a devout believer, was known for spreading his love of Jesus with those he came into contact with. He was always willing to support those around him and loved to tell stories of his cherished memories. Randy was an avid golfer and photographer. He also enjoyed taking road trips along backroads of Texas, watching the Texas Longhorns, visiting the mountains, and exploring national parks to take photos of God's creations. His favorite photography subject was his granddaughter Beckett, who loved to pose with her Big Dog behind the camera.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents Robert Henry Beckett and Dorothy Chapman Beckett, his brother, Robert Gene Beckett, his sister and husband, Carlene and Wayne Hunter, and sister, Barbara Blakesly. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who love him. Survived by his wife, Melanie Beckett, son, Tyler Beckett, daughter and husband, Brittany and Gregory French, granddaughter, Beckett French, sister and husband, Linda and Bob Mardock, beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A celebration of life will take place at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home on March 12, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
