Robert C. “Bob” Manning, a resident of Arlington TX, formerly of Lake Fork, Grand Prairie, and Yonkers NY died at home Sunday July 29, 2012. He was 77 years old. Born November 18, 1934 in Yonkers to William and Christina Manning. Served in the US Army during the Korean War, graduated from St. Francis University 1959, married Nancy Barbara Burrows August 8, 1959. He was a Deputy Regional Director for the DEA from 1960-1984, upon retiring from DEA he served in the Texas State Guard and Texas Civil Defense. He is survived by his spouse Nancy and 5 children Ed, Tom, Bob, Bill and Suzie and 15 grandchildren. Viewing is 6-8 pm Wednesday 8/1 at Moore Funeral home in S. Arlington. Services 8/2 at 1:00 pm St. Vincent de Paul in S. Arlington. Burial 2:30 at DFW National Cemetery.
