

Ronnie Keith Neal Jr, 57 of Alvarado, Texas passed to the loving arms of God on Friday, July 17, 2020 surrounded by his family. He was born in Baumholder, Germany on November 4, 1962 to Ronnie Keith Neal Sr and Gabriele von Mansbach. Ronnie moved to Wichita Falls, Texas early in his childhood and called Texas home. Well known for his snappy sense of humor and Texas size heart, Ronnie was deeply loved by family, friends and co-workers. His and Nellie’s home was a second home to many whether someone fell on rough times or needed a haven from an otherwise harsh set of circumstances. Above all things, Ronnie valued his family and held a self-defined and deep-rooted sense of responsibility to them.
A responsibility fulfilled by his 36-year career with the Arlington Independent School District. He developed and preserve a unique bond with each member of his family. Ronnie’s sense of humor shined through in his communications with them. They cherished his many texts and phone calls. Whether it was a quick chat when they dropped by for a visit or receiving Ronnie’s advice on one of life’s challenges, they left with a perspective that most always included a laugh.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his father Ronnie Neal Sr and an infant sister. He is survived by his beloved wife Nellie; children-Christina Busby (Josh), Steven Dofflemeyer (Jamie), Dorothy Rodriguez (Christian) and Anna Guiterrez (Oscar); grandchildren-Landyn, Daniel, Cameron, Cayden, Brooklynn and Carter; mother-Gabriele von Mansbach; sister-Patricia Bodine (John); brothers-Vondell Neal and Viktor von Mansbach; nieces-Ashlee Brown and Kary Bolling; nephews-Jarrod and Dustin Bolling as well as many other nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial to honor Ronnie’s life will be held Monday, July 27th at 11:00 AM at South Center Baptist Church – 2109 S. Center St; Arlington, Texas
In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
