It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Russell Kinard on January 7, 2022 at the age of 55 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his wife and daughter. God decided that he needed Russell more than we did on earth. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Russell came out a hero and stayed strong until the end.
Anyone who knew Russ was touched by his humor, willingness to give and hard work ethic. He showed up when it mattered, had your back, gave to those in need, and would defend and stand up for his loved ones should the need for it arise. He kept us safe. Russ loved spending time riding his motorcycle, spending weekends on the lake and watching Nascar.
He is survived by his only child, Abigail kinard, his wife Kelly Kinard (Dreiling), his sister Paula Baker (Kinard) her husband Caral Invandino, his niece Anna Baker and her son Jayden and nephew Austin. His sister Janet Spann (Kinard) and her husband Chris Spann and his niece Jacey Spann.
Preceding him in death, his father Thomas (Tuck) Kinard and his mother Annette Holder (Kinard).
We continue to respect Russells wishes to not have a service but we do ask that you continue to keep Abigail Kinard and Kelly Kinard in your thoughts and prayers as they learn to navigate life without him and through this devastating heartbreak. We love him so very much.
