

Thomas Perry Prosser, age 78, of Arlington, Texas, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 10, 2025. Born on April 3, 1946, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Tom was a man of unwavering dedication, boundless energy, and a deep love for family, faith, country and community.
Tom graduated in Ohio from Montpelier High School and attended Adrian College in Michigan, where he formed a lifelong friendship with Bill Vanover that spanned over six decades. After college, Tom joined the workforce with grit and determination.
A proud patriot, Tom enlisted in the Army ahead of being drafted during the Vietnam War and attending flight school in Mineral Wells, Texas. He served with honor as Chief Warrant Officer Aviator in the U.S. Army during the war, a service that remained a defining chapter of his life. His faith as a Christian and his belief in service to others were cornerstones of his character, guiding him throughout his military service and beyond.
Tom's career journey led him to the Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES), where he directed and managed restaurant operations on military bases across the U.S. and overseas. Tom retired from AAFES in July 2009.
His faith as a Christian was a guiding force throughout his life. His deep faith shaped his values of kindness, generosity, and humility, which he modeled for his family and community.
Tom is survived by his wife of 48 years, Nita Prosser of Arlington, TX; children Steve Yannarell and wife, Casie of Levine, CA, and Paige Miller and husband, Matt of NSB, FL; grandchildren, Steve Yannarell of San Diego, CA, and Alisha Walker of NSB, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Marion Prosser.

A committal service with military honors will take place at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery on Monday, February 10, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. The family will meet at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M.
