

Wilma Jean McFadden, 82, of Mansfield, Texas, passed away in her home on her birthday, August 28, 2022 with her oldest daughter, Sherry Mooneyham, by her side. Wilma was born to Joseph Henry (Jay) Little and Lilah Mae Stephenson Little on August 28, 1940 in Georgetown, Arkansas. Wilma worked as a nurse in Searcy, Arkansas and Weatherford, Texas, but her primary focus was raising her five children.
Wilma was a woman who loved her Savior, Jesus Christ, and her family. She enjoyed studying her Bible, watching her favorite preachers on television; cooking and trying out new recipes; playing puzzles; and striking up conversations with anyone who would listen.
Wilma is preceded in death by her parents, J.H and Lilah Mae Little, and her sister, Wanda Lee Bailey.
Wilma leaves behind her five children: Sherry Mooneyham (daughter) and husband Alan Mooneyham of Willis, Texas; Michael McFadden (son) and wife, Ruthann McFadden of Frederick, Maryland; Jay McFadden (son) and wife Karin McFadden of Arlington, Texas; Zeta Walker (daughter) of Tulsa Oklahoma; and Becky Parker (daughter) and husband Jason Parker of Helotes, Texas.
Wilma’s twelve grandchildren: Jesse Mooneyham and Sarah Mooneyham; Michelle Anderson and Brandi Herring; Mandy McFadden, Samantha McFadden, and Erich McFadden, Sam Walker, Davis Walker, Jack Walker, Avery Parker, Timothy Parker and four great-grandchildren, Aaron, Nolen, Noah, and Amelia, will miss her greatly, as will Wilma’s living siblings: Larry Little (brother) and sisters Debbie Taylor and Sandra Holleman.
Wilma’s Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 24th from 3:00 p.m. -4:00 p.m. at Sullivan Memorial Chapel, 111 Wilbur De. Mills Ave., Kensett, Arkansas 72082 - Telephone: (501) 742-3621 followed by a reception at Holiday Inn Express & Suites, 3660 Ferren Trail, Searcy, Arkansas 72143 – Telephone: (501)-279-9991. Following the reception, Wilma’s ashes will be interred at the Georgetown Cemetery, Georgetown, Arkansas.
