

Passed away on July 18, 2012 at the age of 38 with her husband by her side at Walter Reed Bethesda Hospital. She was born June 12, 1974 in Patience, Micoud, Saint Lucia, W.I.. She was a graduate of American International University in San Juan Puerto Rico. During her first year at college, she enlisted in the United States Army Reserve. After graduating in 1993, she enlisted full-time in the United States Army as a Human Resource Specialist. Antonia’s first duty station was Fort Campbell Kentucky, where she met her husband of the last 13-years, Gary. From this union was born one son, Christian (CJ). In 2002, after completing Officer Candidate School, Antonia was commissioned as a 2LT, and was a member of Signal Corp. Her assignments included Fort Campbell KY, Brunsuum Netherlands, and Fort Drum NY. While stationed at Fort Drum New York, she deployed to Kandahar, Afghanistan.
Upon her return from Afghanistan she separated from the military service having achieved the rank of Captain and joined her husband and son in Alexandria Virginia. Toni, as she was affectionately called, was employed with Technical management Resources as a Certification and Accreditation Subject Matter Expert, working at the Office of the Justice Department. She was loved and admired by all. Her quiet demeanor was overshadowed only by her love and concern for all those she came in contact. Toni loved sitcoms, comedy, gospel music and designer handbags. Toni never missed an opportunity to bless others with her unmatched generosity. She enjoyed reading and could be found with either a Kindle or iPad reading two to three books simultaneously. She was a devoted, wife, mother, friend and servant of the Lord.
She is survived by her husband Gary, son Christian (CJ) and Stepson Gary Jr. of Alexandria VA; mother Lorna Benedicta Joseph and stepfather Alphonse Joseph of Puerto Rico; sisters Alexandrine Louisy of Carellie Gardens, Castries St. Lucia and Vanessa Reid of North Carolina; brother-in-law Philgrim Louisy of Carellie Gardens, Castries St. Lucia; sisters-in-law Donna Woodlin and Sharon Brandt of New Jersey; nieces Alana and Alysha Louisy of Carielle Gardens, Castries St. Lucia and Shanelle Reid of South Carolina; nephew Shawn Reid of North Carolina; aunts Lucy Clelimina Theodore of the U.K., Reverend Hannah Boone of New Jersey, Catherine Charlery, Petrona James, Mediana, Inese and Ada Joseph and Rosie Robinson of Patience. St. Lucia, and Therese Joseph of Washington D.C.; uncles Gabriel Joseph of Corinth, St. Lucia, Hedley Joseph of Castries, St. Lucia, Henson Joseph of Miami, Florida, Francis Joseph of Ti-Rocher, Micoud, St. Lucia, Alan and Eugene Rice of New York, and Artis Ashley of Atlantic City. Also left to mourn numerous other relatives and friends.
