family and friends. He is survived by his son Charles and
daughter-in-law Rachel (Shelley). Born in Pawhuska Oklahoma in 1924 he
graduated from Inola OK high school then went in the service for World
War II. After the war he moved to Chicago where he attended the
University of Chicago. He finally settled in the Arlington VA area in
1965 where he met his wife Kay. He worked for the Department of Defense
then volunteered at the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts for several
years. He enjoyed walking to Ballston Mall and having coffee with
friends. He was a kind and gentle person and is greatly missed.
