of Arlington, VA died on October 16, 2015 at Children’s National Medical Center surrounded by family, friends and caregivers following a 9-month battle with Leukemia. He fought with extraordinary courage, grace and humor. Henry will be deeply missed by his parents, Eric and Heather Burneson, his brother and best friend, Luke Burneson, his love, Laurel as well as his extended family and friends. Henry was a senior at Yorktown H.S. He rowed for YHS Crew, loved tennis and took immense pleasure in cooking and eating fabulous food. He was always ready to help others through mission trips to Panama and New Orleans, work with friends at school, or with words of encouragement to other patients at Children’s. Henry lit up a room when he entered and that light will be carried on by all who loved him. A celebration of Henry’s life will be held at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church on Capitol Hill at 3:00 pm on November 14, 2015. In lieu of flowers donations should be made in Henry’s honor to the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults
