J Roger Teller

J. Roger Teller of Washington, DC, died of Alzheimer’s disease on Friday, October 9, 2015. He is survived by his sons Matthew (Stefanie) and Stephen Teller, grandsons Quinn and Benjamin Teller, loving friend Susan May, brother Richard (Carol) Teller, sister-in-law Jane Teller, and many nieces and nephews. He was previously married to Suzanne Buchanan Compton of Bluefield, WV. Roger’s parents Jesse and Edna Teller and his brother David Teller predeceased him. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, October 15, 2015, from 7 to 9 PM at Murphy Funeral Home, 4510 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, VA 22203. A Memorial Mass will take place at 11:30 AM on October 16, 2015, at Our Lady of Victory Church, 4835 MacArthur Boulevard NW, Washington, DC 20016 with a reception following the Mass. Inurnment at Arlington National Cemetery will occur at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate contributions in Roger’s memory to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 1503 Michaels Road, Richmond, VA 23229, or the Georgetown University Memory Disorders Program, Building D, Suite 177, 4000 Reservoir Road NW, Washington, DC 20057.
