On September 25th, 2013, James A. Devers, a life-long Arlington resident, passed away peacefully with his family. He worked most of his career for the DeLashmutt family businesses, he was a member of the Lions Club, and a devoted husband, father, and friend. James always had a smile to share and was much loved.
He is predeceased in death by his wife Nola Mae Devers. He is survived by his daughters Debra Devers, Linda Devers and partner Liebe Wetzel, his brothers Richard and John Devers, and step-sister Phyllis Regan.
Visitation will be held Sunday, September 29, 2013, at Murphy Funeral Home, 4510 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. with funeral service at 1:00 p.m.
Interment will be Monday, September 30, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Columbia Gardens Cemetery, 3411 Arlington Blvd, Arlington.
