I just learned of Jim's passing today. :*( He was a kind, honest, witty fellow who knew cars and loved them. I could always trust Jim's Sunoco to repair my cars with courtesy, promptness and at a fair price! They broke the mold when they made Jim LoMedico. My heartfelt prayers to his family. I will think of them whenever I drive past the station and the former Mother's Macaroons. RIP Jim. You are very missed...

To Jim's wife, family and friends - I'm  a longtime customer of Anderson Sunoco and just learned today of Jim's passing. He was a wonderful guy and ran a good honest shop.  I'm very sorry for your loss.

Jim was such a dear man and treated me with great respect  he took care of my cars for years honestly, which as a woman alone I greatly appreciated.  A friend and I helped him solve a computer problem in the shop area as a favor.  We had a great time figuring that one out.  He was always friendly and talkative whenever I stopped by to just see him.  Although it was a casual friendship, I will greatly miss him.  Jim, you left us way too early in life.  Rest in peace now,,

I learned of this sad news just today (mid-November) and quite by accident.  I knew Jim for more than 35 years.  I (and my various cars) followed him from garage to garage.  He was, quite simply, the best.  Thorough at his job and as honest as they come.  My ex-husband never forgave me for getting "custody" of Jim in our divorce!  My deepest condolences to all who loved him.

I just learned of Jim's passing today.  He was always so helpful to my husband and I.  We never went anywhere else but Sunoco for our automotive work.  In fact, we recommended him to our children and many friends.  I remember a time when he took out our front seats on a moment's notice to find our daughter's engagement ring when she lost it in the car.  Every time I dropped off one of our cars I would talk politics with him.  And we never tired of talking about our dogs!  Gosh I am sad.  I hope his wife Kay knows how much he was loved by so many.

Kay, We are sending you peace and comforting thoughts--so, so, sorry for your loss. Joe, Ann,  and the pups.

I knew Jim for over 10 years. He was a great guy. He was my client and I was his. He will be missed.

We were deeply saddened to learn today that Jim had passed away and that we had missed his funeral.  Jim was an incredibly good man - honest, sincere, hardworking and someone that would go the extra mile for you.  He was  kind and generous to our family over the years and we will truly miss him,.   Our deepest condolences to Kay and the Anderson Sunoco family.

I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He was a warm-hearted and thoughtful neighbor and honest businessman with great integrity and skill.  He will be sorely missed.  My condolences and heartfelt sympathy to Kay.

I was so very sorry to hear about Jim - and also sorry I was out of town and missed the memorial and funeral....then Dabney told me he had a customer and missed the funeral too(Jim would surely understand.) So many of our cars (and Glebe Radio's trucks) have passed through Jim's capable hands. It certainly won't be the same without him. May peace be with you, Kay.

So sorry to hear that Jim passed away.  It was a pleasure working with him regarding the vehicle emissions inspection program and I especially enjoyed talking to him about Arlington, local people, and hot rods.  Condolences from everyone here at the DEQ Air Check Virginia program.

Jim was one of the most honest, sincere, likable human beings imaginable.  He treated everyone with genuine dignity and respect and truly cared for the well-being of others.  We are all better for having him passed through our lives as customers of Sunoco.

Jim you will be missed by our family, we always looked forward to being in your presence, a truly kind hearted, warm, sincere and honest friend. Our sincere condolences go to Kay, Queenie, and Nigella who were nearest and dearest in your heart.

Jim was one of the nicest, most honest and truly good people that there is. His death is a deep and heart breaking loss to our community. Jim will be dearly missed.  I just cannot believe he is gone.  I am truly sorry.

Brett and I are now without a trusted member of our community. He always had a moment in his busy day to help me, a handicapped driver, or to help Brett keep an elderly car on the road. Honest and knowledgeable, gruff but sweet -- we miss him terribly! May you be in the peace you so richly deserve!

Our family will always remember Jim's  kindness, honesty and honor.  He was a beloved member of the community, and his family is in our thoughts.

Having been a long time customer of both of your businesses, I was so happy for you when you two got together. Jim was a trusted adviser on all things automotive as well as a kind and gentle man. I am so sorry for your loss. The community mourns with you.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Jim's passing.  During his career, he helped everyone in my family at one point or another with their automotive needs.  He was a truly honest and trustworthy businessman. Condolences to Jim's family.  I know that Jim was loved and so appreciated by his many customers and he will be missed!

Sad news. I worked for Jim back in 1988-1990 and he was a great boss. Always made me smile and laugh. He always treated our customers with honesty and integrity. He will be missed.
