Julian V. Warren, 95, of Greeley, CO, formerly of Arlington, VA, passed away Monday, November 27, 2017. He was born in Whitestone, VA on July 14, 1922 to Samuel and Julia Warren.
Julian served in the Army during World War II as a military police. Julian was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church for more than 50 years. He was a lifelong resident of Northern VA until 2015. He was married to Betty Ann Warren for 65 years.
He worked multiple jobs after the Army including Briggs Meat Co., and retiring from the Federal Government, and United Virginia Bank as a mail carrier. Julian was the 8th of 9 brothers and sisters.
Julian is survived by his daughter, Dorothy A. Huffman of Greeley; son, Thomas V. Warren of Greeley; sister, Emma E. Collins of Arlington; grandchildren, Edward V. Huffman (Angie M. Huffman); great-grandchildren, Josi M.Huffman, Tyler V. Huffman and Briann F. Huffman and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Betty A. Warren.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Murphy Funeral Home, 4510 Wilson Avenue, Arlington from 12-2pm and 4-6pm. A funeral Mass will be held at 11am, Monday, December 4, 2017 at St Ann's Roman Catholic Church, Arlington. Burial will be held immediately following the Mass at National Memorial Park.
