

Mrs. Thompson was born September 15, 1930 in Washington, D.C. Her parents were Ciro and Caterina Nuzzi Fioramonti who immigrated to the USA in 1913 from Labico and Rome, Italy, respectively.
Juliet graduated from Eastern High School. She worked at Peoples Life Insurance and then as a sales associate at Woodward and Lothrop in downtown D.C. She also held positions at Jelleff’s and Garfinckel’s until her retirement in 1990.
Juliet married Wilfred (Tommy) Thompson, Jr. on April 14, 1951 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Italian Parish, in Washington, D.C. Mr. Thompson predeceased her in 1998.
Their only child, Deborah Ann, was born on December 20, 1954. Deborah was her devoted daughter and companion and shall miss her mother until they reunite again in Heaven in the Presence of Jesus, their wonderful Savior.
Mrs. Thompson was one of nine children. Three brothers predeceased her: Rocco, Leo, and Adam; and a surviving brother, Louis, lives in Mississippi. Two sisters predeceased her: Mary Marchetti and Beatrice Biancaniello. Surviving are two sisters: Josephine Motika and Gloria Knudsen Hunsley.
The church service will be announced when arrangements are finalized. Mrs. Thompson’s remains will be placed in the Columbarium at the Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA beside her late husband. No date has been arranged at this time.
