Kathleen C. Baxter

Kathleen (Kathy) C. Baxter, 78, died peacefully in her Arlington, VA home on February 9, 2021. She was born on April 5, 1942, in Washington, DC, the daughter of Marvin E. and Katherine S. Murdock Baxter. Kathy attended primary and secondary schools in Washington, DC, and attended Annunciation Church. She worked as a Flight Attendant for more than 40 years for American Airlines and was the American Airlines DCA Base Chairperson and Member of the Association of Professional Flight Attendants Board of Directors. Kathy is survived by 2nd cousins Charlie Murdock, Stephen Murdock, Christopher Murdock, and numerous friends. Kathy’s gentle and loving nature generated a household of cats and the love from neighborhood dogs. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Animal Welfare League of Arlington, VA. A memorial service for Kathleen will be held Wednesday, April 21, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Murphy Funeral Homes, 4510 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, VA 22203.
