Maria Natividad Huitz, lovingly known as "Nati" and "Yaya," was born in San Cristobal, Totonicapan, Guatemala on September 8, 1918. She is survived by her daughter, Maria Antonieta; her granddaughters, Lisa, Marisabel, and Julie; and her great-grandchildren, Cecilia, Sean, and Hazel. She is also survived by Juanita Acha; Susan Reddish; Patricia Kishler; Marta Acha; Simona Acha; Ginny Ball; and their spouses and children.
Nati and her daughter came to the U.S. from Guatemala in August 1964 with Dr. Pedro Acha and his family, for whom she worked for nearly 50 years. She valued hard work; was a loyal friend, who loved animals, especially cats; enjoyed a good joke and always saved room for dessert.
